We rejoice on days when the glory of the sun is revealed in all of its splendor, imparting to us its benefits. The reality is that the sun and all that it is, remains the same on stormy days too, only veiled momentarily by the clouds. How often have we as God’s children forgot that even in the storms of life, cloudy as they may be, God’s grace and glorious splendor remains unchanged and continually working on behalf of us His people. Let us also be encouraged that Heaven, the final destination, that is for those who have been redeemed by Christ’s blood, leaves all of the best days of this life looking like flickering candle light in comparison to the brightness, the glory, the beauty and majesty of that place, for Christ our creator is it’s light!
