“You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

Reverence -“honor or respect shown, profound adoring or awed respect.”
Reverence for God? – Is it rare in the Church these days? What happens when God crosses the minds of those whom He created with the capacity to revere?
…….And everyone reveres something or someone
What about your mind? Is He a fleeting, petty thought like so many are? Or do you cling to Him, honor, respect and adore Him at every opportunity?
Let it be the latter of the two.
God is holy!
We do not deserve to live with Him in peace.
Innocent blood, the blood of God’s only Son was shed that you might be reconciled together with Him forever. If the shedding of blood alone can remit sins and purchase access to a holy, righteous, eternal Maker….then doesn’t the One who bled, deserve no less than utter reverence and awe from the ones whom He purchased?
Oh Lord, let there be reverence in the Church today!
