Holy spirit, what good will arise from our meetings if you are not present? Come like a rushing wind. Have your way among us. We know that passion is pointless, repeated prayers are futile, and our joining together is nothing more than a social club of the world, if you are not in the midst of it.
Come Lord!
Come with consuming fire. Come with conviction, comfort, correction, and awakening power over your people!
You are God of all gods. We are mere men in need. Point us to Jesus.
Reveal secrets that only you know. For you know us better than we do.
Let the Word of God which you inspired, both melt and mend our hearts, and graciously equip the saints for all that glorifies Christ.
